‘American Horror Story: 1984’ will debut on FX on Wednesday night, September 18 and the first two teaser trailers have been released.
Details about the season largely remain under wraps but what we do know for certain is this latest installment of ‘American Horror Story’ is set against the back drop of the classic slasher films of the 1980’s. The new trailer reveals the location for at least part of this season at Camp Redwood, which is obviously an homage to the ‘Friday the 13th’ series that took place at Camp Crystal Lake.
While ‘American Horror Story: 1984’ is based around those classic slasher films, not much else is known about the characters or the story that will take place this season.
The cast for the show was finally revealed just recently with ‘American Horror Story’ regular Emma Roberts leading the way along with Gus Kenworthy, and “Pose” star Angelica Ross as well as DeRon Horton, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, Leslie Grossman, Matthew Morrison, Zach Villa and John Carroll Lynch.
