A pivotal cast member has been added to ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ with a role that first originated in season 1…
The Anti-Christ is coming to ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’.
Cody Fern — who just played a major role on ‘The Assassination of Gianni Versace’ — has been cast in the role of a grown up Michael Langdon in the latest installment of ‘American Horror Story’ on FX.
‘American Horror Story’ co-creator Ryan Murphy announced the news via Twitter.

For those who don’t remember — Michael Langdon was the baby born back in ‘American Horror Story’ season one to parents Tate Langdon and Vivien Harmon (played by Evan Peters and Connie Britton). In the epilogue of the season dubbed ‘Murder House’, it was revealed that the baby Michael Langdon was actually the Anti-Christ and he was being raised by his grandmother, Constance Langdon.
The new season called ‘Apocalypse’ will serve as a crossover between ‘American Horror Story’ seasons one and three, which were ‘Murder House’ and ‘Coven’.
Obviously, Michael Langdon’s return is the first major piece of the puzzle revealed in whatever story will unfold during the season with an ominous title like ‘Apocalypse’ it seems rather fitting that the Anti-Christ is coming back.
‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ will debut on FX on September 12.
