The massive four-show crossover between ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash’, ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ has a date set in November…
The CW has unveiled plans for the latest big four show crossover combining ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash’, ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.
On Wednesday it was announced that the latest crossover would take place between all four shows over two nights starting on Monday November 27 with ‘Supergirl’ and continue that same night with a special episode of ‘Arrow’.
The crossover will then shift to Tuesday night with ‘The Flash’ and then conclude with ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ at its regularly scheduled time at 9pm ET on November 28.
‘Arrow’ was actually moved to a special Monday night slot for this year’s crossover so the episodes could run back-to-back over two days rather than stretching it out over four days as it was done this previous season.
Mark Pedowitz, the CW president, promised that this would be a true four series crossover unlike last season where only the final minutes of ‘Supergirl’ combined that show with the other three series when the superheroes took on The Dominators in an alien invasion storyline.
No details have been revealed for the crossover story this season although there have been persistent rumors that the classic DC comic series ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ could be at least partially adapted this year. As of yet, the CW has made no formal announcements regarding the crossover storyline.
The only tease made during the Television Critics Association summer press tour was Pedowitz saying ‘romance is in the air’ for the crossover but no other information was revealed.
All four series — ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash’, ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ — are slated to return in October with brand new seasons on the CW.
