“Better Call Saul” star Bob Odenkirk has released his first statement after he collapsed on set of the “Breaking Bad” prequel and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Thankfully since he was first admitted, Odenkirk has been resting and recovering with his condition stabilized but now he’s revealed that he did indeed suffer a heart attack but doctors were able to fix the issues with all signs pointing towards a full and healthy recovery.
“Hi. It’s Bob. Thank you. To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me,” Odenkirk wrote on Twitter. “It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much.
“I had a small heart attack. But I’m going to be OK thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery. Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level. I’m going to take a beat to recover but I’ll be back soon.”

Odenkirk was in the middle of filming the sixth final season of “Better Call Saul” when he collapsed on set during production in New Mexico.
He was immediately rushed to a local hospital for treatment and an update was issued that he was stable after suffering a “heart related incident.”
Now it appears Odenkirk has received the necessary treatment to get his health back on track as he begins the recovery process.
