Frank Grillo — best known for his roles in the mixed martial arts series “Kingdom” as well as appearances in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” as well as “Avengers: Endgame” — has signed on for a recurring role in “Billions” season 5.
The upcoming season is already in production with a debut date expected in the first quarter of 2020 on Showtime.
Grillo will be playing a modern artist named Nico Tanner, but no further details about his character were revealed.
Grillo joins Julianna Marguiles and Corey Stoll, who are also guest starring in the upcoming season of “Billions.”
The new season will once again pit Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) against Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) as the fragile friendship they forged at the end of season 3 had run its course by the end of season 4. Now Chuck is determined to take Bobby down once and for all.
“Billions” season 5 will debut in 2020.
