‘Billions’ season 5 has added a couple of heavy hitters to the cast with Julianna Margulies and Corey Stoll joining the Showtime drama…

It looks like Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades will have some new competition when “Billions” season 5 debuts in 2020.

Two new additions to the cast were confirmed this week with Julianna Margulies and Corey Stoll signing onto star in season 5, which is currently in pre-production with the show gry hazardowe expected to return early next year on Showtime.

Margulies is best known for her roles on “The Good Wife” as well as a memorable turn on “The Sopranos” and when she joins the cast of “Billions” she will be playing Catherine Brant, who is “an Ivy League sociology professor and bestselling author.”

Meanwhile, Stoll has starred in series such as “The Strain” as well as “House of Cards” with his most recent performance on the HBO series “The Deuce” where he had a recurring role in the final season.

On “Billions,” Stoll will play Michael Prince, who is described as “a business titan from a small town in Indiana.”

“Billions” has remained one of Showtime’s most popular shows since first debuting on the network with the fifth season set to debut sometime in 2020.
