The witches from ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ have conjured up another season of the breakout series on Netflix.
On Tuesday it was confirmed that the series based on characters from the Archie Comics universe had been renewed for another season — parts 3 and 4 — on Netflix ahead of the second season debut on April 5.

Based in the same universe as ‘Riverdale’, ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ follows the journey of 16-year old Sabrina Spellman, who is struggling to balance her mortal life against the supernatural one she leads as a witch. The first season was primarily focused on Sabrina’s deal with the devil as she attempted to keep one foot in the mortal world with her friends at high school while she was also dabbling in the dark arts as a member of a coven in the Church of Night.
The first season was both a critical and commercial hit for Netflix and now ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ will be coming back for at least two more seasons.
When Netflix first acquired the rights to the ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’, the show was picked up for two parts with 10 episodes each. It appears the streaming giant is doubling down with 16 more episodes ordered for season 2 with parts 3 and 4 on the way.
Season 1 is available to stream currently on Netflix along with a ‘winter solstice’ special that debuted last week ahead of the holidays. The second half of season 1 (part 2) will debut on April 5 with production on season 3 expected to start in mid-2019.
