‘Colony’ will return for season 3 after being renewed by USA on Tuesday…
‘Colony’ is officially returning for season 3.
The popular sci-fi series from Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal has been picked up for a third season on USA Network just two days ahead of the season 2 finale.
The show following the exploits of a family trying to survive in the aftermath of an alien invasion on Earth where the planet has already been handed to new overlords. ‘Colony’ stars Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Tory Kittles and Peter Jacobsen.
“When Carlton and Ryan first pitched ‘Colony’, they described it as ‘the Nazi occupation of France, with aliens.’ In a world increasingly filled with uncertainty about authoritarian regimes, Season 3 will forge an even deeper connection with our audience,” said Jeff Wachtel, President, Chief Content Officer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.
“It’s a quality show that we know will stand the test of time.”
‘Colony’ will wrap up season 2 on Thursday night before production begins on season 3 later this year.
