The first look at ‘Daredevil’ season 3 has arrived in a teaser released on Thursday as well as the debut date being revealed…
If there’s been one recurring theme through the first two seasons of Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ it’s been the ongoing conflict as Matt Murdock tries to balance his own personal life with the one he assumes at night when he becomes the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
At the end of ‘Daredevil’ season 2, Matt managed to wreck his relationship with Karen and then saw the first woman he ever loved die when Elektra was killed in a battle with the Hand.
To make matters worse, Matt then saw Elektra resurrected and the presumably killed again at the end of ‘The Defenders’. While it appeared at the time that Matt also met his demise, he’s obviously back but he’s embracing his inner devil when the new season begins.
In the new teaser trailer for ‘Daredevil’ season 3 — which debuts on Netflix on October 19 — Matt is confessing that perhaps if he truly wants to stop evil, he needs to forget about his own inner battles and focus on snuffing out the bad guys once and for all.
So it seems Matt is embracing his inner darkness and letting the devil out on a full time basis in season 3.
