The first teaser trailer for ‘Daredevil’ season 3 has arrived after it debuted at the end of ‘Iron Fist’ season 2…
“I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law. And in the light of day. But I was fooling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness. And the truth is I’d rather die as the devil than live as Matt Murdock.”
That is Matt Murdock’s confession as heard in the first teaser for ‘Daredevil’ season 3, which is expected to be released later this year on Netflix.
While details on the season have been very sketchy, ‘Daredevil’ season 3 will pick up in the aftermath of ‘The Defenders’ miniseries that seemingly saw Matt perish under the weight of a collapsed building after battling his ex-girlfriend Elektra, who was transformed into an undead assassin.
Obviously, Matt survived and he’s back but it appears he’s no longer interested in fighting criminals in the courtroom but rather take them out as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
Rumors have swirled that ‘Daredevil’ season 3 will be loosely based on the ‘Born Again’ story from the comics where Kingpin finds out Daredevil’s true identity as Matt Murdock and he systematically dismantles his life, which drives him to the brink of insanity.
