It looks like ‘Jessica Jones’ will see a familiar face back for season 2 as David Tennant is returning…
Being dead in the Marvel Universe doesn’t mean you can’t come back, right?
David Tennant — who portrayed mind controlling villain Kilgrave in the first season of ‘Jessica Jones’ — will make his return to the series for season 2 as first reported by EW on Monday.
In the season 2 finale, Jessica (Krysten Ritter) had finally figured out that Kilgrave was no longer able to use his mind control abilities on her and she snapped his neck as a way to stop him from harming anyone else she loves.
So it will be interesting to see how Tennant makes his return — possibly in some sort of flashback sequence or perhaps he’s still torturing poor Jessica even after he’s dead?
Whatever the case, Tennant is officially back for ‘Jessica Jones’ season 2 as the show continues filming in New York.
The next time you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of ‘Jessica Jones’ will be later this week when ‘The Defenders’ debuts on Netflix on Aug. 18 with all eight episodes being released in the special event series.
