Deadpool and Fred Savage may not agree on everything but every now and again a kinship is formed over some garbage ass radio rock from Nickelback…
Ryan Reynolds — aka Deadpool — is unapologetically Canadian and he’ll be damned if anyone is going to disparage bands from his home country.
That includes former child star Fred Savage in this latest trailer for ‘Once Upon a Deadpool’ — the one night PG-13 engagement for ‘Deadpool 2’ that drops in theaters on Dec. 12.
Savage isn’t quite sold that ‘Deadpool’ is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe because after all for now all of those X-Men related films are Marvel as licensed by FOX. In the mind of the former ‘Wonder Years’ star that’s like The Beatles being produced by Nickelback — it’s music but it sucks.
Well that doesn’t sit well with Mr. Pool and the end result is just as hilarious as you’d expect.
In fact, Nickelback even weighed in on the trailer after it landed on Monday morning.
