‘Arrow’ will not end without Felicity making one last appearance as Emily Bett Rickards has been confirmed to return for the series finale…
Oliver will see his queen return before ‘Arrow’ wraps its series finale.
Stephen Amell announced this week that Emily Bett Rickards will return to play Felicity for the ‘Arrow’ series finale, which airs in early 2020.
“There’ll be a lot of news coming out about our final episode over the next few months. I prefer when you hear it from us. Welcome back Emily,” Amell said on Twitter.

It was welcome news for ‘Arrow’ fans after the shocking revelation that Rickards was leaving the show and wasn’t expected to return for the final season. It was a huge loss considering Felicity had become a massive part of the show as Oliver’s wife and the mother to his daughter, Mia.
There are several more past cast members who are expected to appear in the final season of ‘Arrow’, which is currently airing on the CW on Tuesday nights.
‘Arrow’ helped launch what has been dubbed the ‘Arrow-verse’ with shows such as ‘The Flash’, ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ now currently airing on the CW. While ‘Arrow’ will come to an end in early 2020, the ‘Arrow-verse’ will continue to thrive with a new series already in the works titled ‘Superman and Lois’ as well as a show that’s being developed around Oliver and Felicity’s daughter, Mia Smoak that would take place in the future.
There’s no further details surrounding Rickard’s return to ‘Arrow’ but with only a handful of episodes remaining including the epic ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ crossover kicking off next month, it won’t take long to find out.
