It looks like Madison Montgomery will return as Emma Roberts confirmed she will be appearing in ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’…
Surprise, bitch — Madison Montgomery is back.
Emma Roberts, who played the razor tongued witch during ‘American Horror Story: Coven’, has officially confirmed her return to the newest installment of the show that will serve as a crossover between the first season and the third season of the long running anthology series
Roberts had previously teased her return when show creator Ryan Murphy first started dropping hints that ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ would be the long awaited crossover season between ‘Coven’ and the inaugural season typically referred to as ‘Murder House’.
Now Roberts has confirmed her return to the series with a post on Instagram.
Now Madison’s return will be interesting because at the end of ‘American Horror Story: Coven’, she was killed in the finale while trying to perform the Seven Wonders that would reveal a new ‘Supreme’ for the coven. Of course in a series where there have been all sorts of resurrections, it should be no surprise that Madison would find a way to return.
Roberts returns to ‘American Horror Story’ after a starring role in seasons 3 and 4 and then making sporadic appearances throughout the other seasons of the show.
Details are sketchy on ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ but the show will take place in the future with the majority of the cast returning from past seasons including Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates and numerous others. Actor Cody Fern has also been cast as an adult Michael Langdon, who was revealed to be the Anti-Christ at the end of the first season of ‘American Horror Story’, which undoubtedly plays back into the ‘Apocalypse’ title.
‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ debuts on FX on Wednesday night, September 12 at 10 p.m. ET.
