A familiar face is returning for ‘American Horror Story: Cult’ as Emma Roberts has joined the cast…
Emma Roberts is back.
On Tuesday, Roberts announced that she was officially joining the cast of ‘American Horror Story: Cult’, the upcoming seventh season of the horror anthology series on FX that is set to debut on Wednesday night, September 5 at 10pm ET.
Roberts has appeared on two previous seasons of the show — ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ and ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ before she moved onto star in ‘Scream Queens’, which is another series from ‘American Horror Story’ creator Ryan Murphy.
Unfortunately, ‘Scream Queens’ was cancelled after two seasons, which meant Roberts was free to rejoin the cast at ‘American Horror Story’ alongside her longtime boyfriend Evan Peters as well as her former ‘Scream Queens’ cast mate Billie Lourde, who is also joining the show this season.
There are no details on Roberts’ character but obviously she’s already filming as the show is set to debut in just over a month.
‘American Horror Story: Cult’ debuts on Sept. 5 on FX.
