‘Fear the Walking Dead’ will return to AMC on Sunday night, June 2 with some familiar faces returning to help round out the cast this season.
Austin Amelio, who plays former Savior second in command Dwight will make his debut as part of the cast of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ after leaving ‘The Walking Dead’ at the end of season 8.
Dwight helped Rick Grimes and the survivors from Alexandria, the Hilltop, the Kingdom and Oceanside defeat Negan at the end of season 8 but he couldn’t be forgiven for some of the past crimes he had committed. Rather than killing him, Daryl offered Dwight amnesty so long as he left town and never returned again.
So now it appears Dwight has made his way down to Texas where he will meet up with Morgan and the rest of the cast from ‘Fear the Walking Dead’.
Meanwhile after going missing following the dam explosion at the end of season 3, Daniel Salazar will make his long awaited return to the show as you’ll see in the trailer.
