The first look at Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor has finally been revealed ahead of his debut on ‘Supergirl’ later this season…
A new Lex Luthor will debut during ‘Supergirl’ season 4 as the first look at Jon Cryer in the infamous role was finally revealed on Wednesday.
Cryer was cast as the Superman villain last year with a recurring role planned for ‘Supergirl’ this season. In the past, Lex Luthor has been talked about often by many characters on ‘Supergirl’ including his sister Lena and his mother while constantly referencing that he’s in prison for his past crimes.
Now it appears Cryer will be making his first appearance as Lex Luthor behind bars in the first photo showing him in the iconic role as well as details about his debut episode being revealed by DC and Warner Bros.
“Look for Cryer to make his debut in Supergirl’s 15th episode this season, entitled “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” on Sunday, March 17. In it, Lex Luthor reaches out from prison to enlist Lena (Katie McGrath) into one of his plans and will stop at nothing to get her on board, even if that means leveraging the life of one of her friends.”
Given Lex Luthor’s prominence in the history of both Superman and Supergirl, it’s safe to say he’ll be an ominous addition to the cast this season and beyond.
Look for Cryer’s first appearance on ‘Supergirl’ during the episode airing on Sunday night, March 17.
