Get your first look at ‘Billions’ season 3 as Axe seeks vengeance on Chuck with prison looming overhead…
The end of ‘Billions’ season 2 — which we awarded as the best TV show of 2017 — showed Chuck Rhoades finally get the better of Bobby Axelrod after setting him up for a sting that ended with the hedge fund manager being arrested and pending charges that could put him in prison.
Now as ‘Billions’ season 3 gets underway on Sunday, March 25 at 10pm ET/PT, Axe is out of jail and rage is starting to get the better of him as he seeks vengeance on the man responsible for putting him under indictment.
Meanwhile, Chuck, who was exploring a political run following his takedown of Axe, is still mired in the mix of this case with everybody around him trying to figure out a way to finally get one over on Bobby Axelrod.
Here’s the official description for ‘Billions’ season 3 from Showtime:
“Season three of Billions finds Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti) and Bobby Axelrod (Lewis) in a world that has shifted on its axis. Both men are still determined to destroy the other, but must also battle for their own survival amid new forces and powerful enemies. Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff) Chuck’s wife and Axe’s performance coach, is all in for both of them, an uneasy and dangerous position for her, and one that ultimately puts her to a decision that could alter the direction of her life irrevocably.”
The song in the trailer is “Glitter and Gold” by Barns Courtney.
