The final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ will land on HBO on April with a teaser released for the final six episodes…
The end is here.
The final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ will officially arrive on HBO in April 2019 as announced on Tuesday, although a specific date was not revealed.
What we know for certain is ‘Game of Thrones’ will drop during one of the four Sundays in April and with Easter on April 21, it may end up with the biggest show in HBO history returning the following week on April 28.
Nothing is set in stone yet but we now know for certain that the final six episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’ will land in April with a teaser for the final season dropped on Tuesday as well.
A full season 8 trailer may be released before the end of the year but again nothing has been specifically stated on when HBO might reveal the first real look at what lies ahead in the final six episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’.
Production on these final six episodes was incredibly expansive with filming taking place over an even bigger piece of time than it would typically take 10 episodes of the series to come together.
‘Game of Thrones’ season 8 will also see the biggest battle scene in television history with production on that particular episode stretching over several months.
Stay tuned for more ‘Game of Thrones’ news as it becomes available and we learn the official launch date as well as the first trailer for the final season.
