The next episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ is the longest of the entire series and now there have been a few photos released teasing what lies ahead…
The third episode in the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ will be the longest of the entire series clocking in at one hour and 22 minutes.
While the details surrounding the episode are still a mystery, the plot has been teased for several seasons as the living prepares to battle the army of the dead sitting just outside the walls of Winterfell.
At the end of the last episode, the horns sounded after the army of the dead was spotted not far away from Winterfell as the White Walkers arrive on the backs of their dead horses.
Miguel Sapochnik directed the upcoming ‘Game of Thrones’ episode that features the longest battle scene in film or television history with the production on this lone episode lasting more than 60 days of filming. Sapochnik has handled duties like this before for ‘Game of Thrones’ after directing the episodes ‘The Battle of the Bastards’ as well as 2015’s ‘Hardhome’, which also featured the army of the dead.
Now Sapochnik will work his magic on this upcoming episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ where the stakes are even higher. Take a look at the gallery of photos and prepare for the episode this Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
