Jon goes searching for a dead man in the preview for the next episode of ‘Game of Thrones’…
“Death is the enemy. The first enemy and the last. The enemy always wins. And we still need to fight him”
~ Beric Dondarrion
An ominous warning from the leader of the Brotherhood without Banners as Jon Snow leads a rag tag group north of the Wall to try and capture a wight to bring back to King’s Landing as proof that the dead are truly stalking the living.
On the penultimate episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ in season 7, Jon leads his expedition alongside his friend Tormund Gianstbane, Jorah Mormont, Gendry, ‘The Hound’, Beric Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr in an attempt to convince the rest of Westeros that the real threat is the Night King and his army of the dead.
In a shortened season of ‘Game of Thrones’, this second to last episode promises to be one of the most action packed yet considering the series has always made a habit of that over the years. ‘The Red Wedding’, ‘The Battle of the Bastards’ and several other major events on ‘Game of Thrones’ took place during the penultimate episode of the season so it’s safe to assume that Jon’s mission will take a marquee role this week as the living go up against the dead.
From the look of things that won’t be the only story taking place in the next episode.
It appears Littlefinger’s plan to turn Stark against Stark may be working with Arya looking into her sister’s ambitions to be crowned the Queen in the North after finding a scroll last week that she believes proves Sansa was a traitor to her family during the War of the Five Kings.
With only two episodes remaining this season, the next episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ promises to be one of the best yet.
