The cast for the upcoming series Constantine is filling out quickly with a few new actors added on Wednesday…
NBC’s foray into the comic book genre for television will pick up this fall with the series ‘Constantine’ based on the ‘Hellblazer’ comic books as they follow John Constantine, who is the balance between good and evil on the mystic plane in this universe.
The new actors added on Wednesday include:
Harold Perrineau (Lost, Sons of Anarchy) who plays Manny — an angel assigned to watch over Constantine, who helps in times of need.
Lucy Griffiths (True Blood) who plays Liv, the female lead on the show who teams up with Constantine after she is marked for death by a demon.
Charles Halford (True Detective) who plays Chas, Constantine’s oldest friend and supporter.
Actor Matt Ryan has already been cast in the lead role of John Constantine. The new series from NBC is expected to film this summer with a fall debut date on the network.
