Following a successful first season on Amazon, “Invincible” has already been renewed for seasons 2 and 3 as the comic book adaptation continues…
“Invincible” will return.
The series based on the comic books from Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley has officially been renewed for seasons 2 and 3 on Amazon Prime video.
The animated series stars Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead,” “Minari”) in the lead role as Mark Grayson — a teenager who becomes a superhero thanks to his father Omni-Man, who just so happens to be the most powerful being on Earth. As Mark starts to create his own legacy as a hero, he begins to discover some secrets that his father has been keeping from him.
The series also features voice actors such as J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Walton Goggins, Mark Hamill, Lauren Cohan and many more.
Kirkman, who is also the created behind “The Walking Dead,” announced the news on Twitter alongside Yeun.

“I’m extremely thankful to Amazon for the support and dedication they’ve put behind Invincible,” Kirkman said in a statement. “The comic book is truly a love letter to a genre that Cory (Walker) and I grew up reading and loving, and it’s been a gratifying journey to watch our characters come to life again through the animated series. We’re beyond excited to continue this story for at least two more seasons.”
“Invincible” has been receiving rave reviews since first debuting on Amazon Prime with the first season finale just debuting a few days ago.
Now it appears Yeun and the rest of the cast will soon get back to work for two more seasons of “Invincible” on Amazon Prime.
