Pennywise is back in the first trailer for ‘IT: Chapter Two’.
The first footage from the highly anticipated sequel based on the Stephen King novel arrived on Thursday with a look at the Loser’s Club returning to Derry for the first time in decades after they live up to a promise they made as kids to come back if Pennywise the Clown ever resurfaced.
The opening of the trailer features a famous scene from the original novel as Beverly Marsh (this time played by Jessica Chastain) returns to Derry and the home she once shared with her abusive father. After sitting down for some tea with the woman who lives there, Beverly soon realizes that she has walked right back into the lair of evil.
With that, the Loser’s Club returns to Derry to once again battle Pennywise in an attempt to stop him and his reign of terror once and for all.
