Jeff Goldblum will be battling dinosaurs all over again in the upcoming ‘Jurassic World’ sequel…
Dr. Ian Malcolm is returning for another adventure with dinosaurs.
Jeff Goldblum — who portrayed the mathematician in ‘Jurassic Park’ as well as ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’ — is reprising his role for the upcoming ‘Jurassic World’ sequel from director J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls).
Goldblum joins a cast that already includes Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who are returning to the highly anticipated ‘Jurassic World’ sequel following the original, which grossed over $1.67 billion worldwide.
The upcoming ‘Jurassic World’ sequel was written by Colin Trevorrow — who directed the original film — along with Derek Connolly.
The sequel also stars Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones.
The ‘Jurassic World’ sequel is due out on June 22, 2018.
As it stands, Goldblum is the first actor from the original ‘Jurassic Park’ series to sign on to appear in the ‘Jurassic World’ reboot, which was critically acclaimed and very commercially successful. Before Goldblum goes back to battle the dinosaurs, he will next be seen in the upcoming ‘Thor: Ragnorok’ film opening on November 3.
