Margot Robbie will reprise her role as Harley Quinn in the new ‘Birds of Prey’ movie and the film just got a bonkers title…
Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn will be front and center in the new all-girl team up feature film based on the ‘Birds of Prey’ comic book series and now the movie has a full title.
Robbie revealed the title to the film — and this is official — on her Instagram account earlier this week.
The new film will be called: ‘Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’.
Robbie reprises the role she originated in ‘Suicide Squad’ except this time around she’s upping the girl power by teaming up with a host of famous heroes from the comic books based in Gotham City.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play The Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell will take on the Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco plays Cassandra Cain and Rosie Perez will play Detective Renee Montoya.
The all women’s superhero faction will be opposed by famed Batman villain ‘The Black Mask’, who will be played by Ewan McGregor.
‘Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’ will go into production next year with a February 7, 2020 release date for the film from Warner Bros. and DC Comics.
