The first major villain for the new season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been cast and he’s a favorite from the comic book universe…
To kick off the new season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., there will be a familiar face to comic book fans brought in to antagonize Coulson and his team.
Brian Patrick Wade — best known from ‘Teen Wolf’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory’ — will play Carl ‘Crusher’ Creel, better known to Marvel fans as ‘The Absorbing Man’.

“With his ability to absorb the properties of anything he touches, Creel will put Coulson and his team through their paces when their second season kicks off…but you’ll have to wait until then to see how their battle turns out!”
The new season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on Tuesday night, September 23 at 9pm ET/PT.
