Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ will return for a second season on Hulu….
The showdown between super power kids and super villain parents will carry on.
On Tuesday, Marvel’s ‘Runaway’s was officially renewed for season 2 on Hulu with the season 1 finale just about to debut on Tuesday.
The series based on the comic created by Brian K. Vaughan follows a group of privileged teenagers, who find out that their parents are actually a group of super villains responsible for all sorts of nefarious actions including the death of several people. Once the kids find out about their parents, they begin searching for answers to prove them guilty while teaming up together to stop them.
‘Runaways’ was developed by Josh Schwartz (Chuck, Gossip Girl) as well as Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, The O.C.) and the series has received great reviews thus far throughout season one.
For our part, Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ has been a highly addictive addition to the television line up with a great cast and very well plotted out story that’s similar to the original comics while still giving a new spin for readers who still want a few surprises.
Marvel’s ‘Runaway’s will wrap up season one with the finale on Tuesday before going back into production later this year on season 2 for Hulu.
