With production underway on ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’, two famous faces from television will be joining the rather sizable cast…
As production on ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ gets underway in England, two more cast members have been added in undisclosed roles.
Matt Smith — best known for his roles on ‘Doctor Who’ as well as a recent turn on ‘The Crown’ — has joined the cast for ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ per Variety although there’s no detail on the role he’ll be playing.
Meanwhile, Dominic Monaghan — from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ movies — will team up with ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ director J.J. Abrams once again after they first worked together on ‘Lost’.
Smith and Monaghan join a gigantic cast already on board for ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ including returning actors such as Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Adam Driver as well as Keri Russell and Richard E. Grant amongst the newcomers.
‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ will land in theaters on December 20, 2019.
