Mayans M.C. — the new spinoff series from Sons of Anarchy — is set to debut later this year on FX and we’ve now seen the first teaser trailer for the series.
Mayans M.C. takes place after the events of Sons of Anarchy inside the motorcycle club that once stood as a huge rival to SAMCRO before eventually becoming allies.
Here’s the synopsis for the series:
“Set in a post Jax Teller world, where EZ Reyes is a prospect in the Mayan M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Now EZ must carve out his new outlaw identity in a town where he once was the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp.”
The new series comes from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter as well as Elgin James.
There’s no word yet when Mayans M.C. will debut but it’s likely the show will drop in September, which was typically when Sons of Anarchy would debut on FX.
The track in the trailer is a Spanish language version of ‘Paint It Black’ from the Rolling Stones — this version is titled ‘Todo Negro’ by Los Salvajes
