A new trailer for ‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad’ movie dropped on Tuesday showing Jesse reuniting with old friends and a showdown with a mysterious character…
Not much time remains until ‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie’ debuts on October 11 on Netflix but a second trailer for the highly anticipated film was released on Tuesday, almost as ambiguous as the first one.
It’s obviously ‘Breaking Bad’ creator Vince Gilligan wants to give away as little as possible before the film is released but the new trailer does manage to show Jesse Pinkman reunite with his old pals Badger and Skinny Pete following his escape from a Nazi compound where he was held captive for months as he was forced to cook meth.
Jesse’s escape thanks to Walter White allow him to start a new life but the cops are in hot pursuit because he’s the last person still alive after a massacre saw two DEA agents murdered along with the brutal bodycount at the Nazi compound where nine more bodies were found. While the overall plot remains a mystery, ‘El Camino’ is expected to serve as a direct sequel to the ‘Breaking Bad’ finale but there’s no telling how far into the past or future this particular story will go.
There’s also an interesting encounter towards the end of the trailer where Jesse has a confrontation with somebody sporting a mangled left hand along with a gun in a holster saying to him “you ready?’ and he answers back ‘yeah’.
Expect a lot of cameos from ‘Breaking Bad’ throughout this sequel movie after Jonathan Banks already confirmed he would be returning as Mike Ehrmantraut with speculation that Bryan Cranston will almost certainly come back for an appearance as Walter White. There’s also a chance Bob Odenkirk pops up as Saul Goodman considering his ‘Breaking Bad’ prequel series ‘Better Call Saul’ is still ongoing and shoots in the same neighborhoods in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Check out the new trailer for ‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie’ ahead of the release on Oct. 11 with the movie also landing in select theaters that same weekend.
