Jason Bateman will launder more money in ‘Ozark’ season 2 after the series was renewed by Netflix…
Just weeks after ‘Ozark’ premiered on Netflix, the crime drama series has already been renewed for season 2.
‘Ozark’ stars Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, a financial advisor who is actually the lead money launderer for one of the top drug cartels in all of Mexico. When a former business partner betrays the cartel, Marty saves his life by moving his entire family including his wife (played by Laura Linney) and two children to the Ozarks in Missouri while promising to set up an entirely new ring of businesses capable of laundering even more of the cartel’s money.
The show has been a critical hit for Netflix with rave reviews for the series as well as Bateman’s performance as the well known comedy actor turns on a very serious tone for his role as money launderer Marty Byrde.
‘Ozark’ season one is available now with the 10-episode second season expected to debut on Netflix in 2018.
