The console gaming wars appear to be fairly one sided right now with Sony Playstation outselling Microsoft’s XBox by a wide margin…
The latest news out of the gaming arena shows that Sony’s Playstation has been moving units at a far greater level than Microsoft’s XBox during the exact same time period. The news comes courtesy of financial reports filed by both Sony and Microsoft for investors.
According to the report via IGN, Playstation (both PS3 and PS4 combined) sold 3.5 million units in the first quarter of the year — that’s up from 1.1 million during the same timespan from 2013.
The XBox report from the first quarter reveals sales (XBox 360 and XBox One) sat at 1.1 million units, which means Microsoft has fallen way back of Sony in this particular area of the market.
