The latest convert is Zach Cregger, who first came to fame through his own sketch comedy series called “The Whitest Kids You Know.” It wasn’t until he read a book called “The Gift of Fear” that he got inspired to write a scene based on the subject matter dealing with little red flags women are encouraged to recognize when it comes to the toxic behavior of the men around them.
That single scene eventually spiraled into an entire idea for a film where a woman arrives at a house she rented only to find it’s already been occupied by someone else…
