Michael David Cummings — better known as Spider-One, the lead singer of the hard rock band Powerman 5000 and younger brother to Rob Zombie — decided to follow his sibling into filmmaking with his own movie after he had previously directed several of his group’s music videos.
The inspiration for his first film was based on his own writer’s block as a musician and how he struggled to live a creative life while also bowing to the demands of his own emotions not to mention the financial constraints that come along with that kind of career.
What resulted was an anthology centered around a group of artists tortured by their own obsessions and insecurities that ultimately ends up summoning all sorts of monsters and demons to haunt them…
