The first look at ‘The Punisher’ series from Marvel and Netflix debuted following the final episode of ‘The Defenders’ miniseries that launched on Thursday night.
Starring Jon Bernthal in a role he originated during ‘Daredevil’ season 2 sees Frank Castle continuing in his vigilante ways after leaving New York to pursue his own brand of justice across the world.
In a teaser that was shown at San Diego Comic Con several weeks ago (that was never publicly released), Castle was seen taking down biker gangs in Alabama and drug lords in Mexico so it’s tough to tell where this series will travel when it finally debuts.
There’s no debut date for ‘The Punisher’ but given this trailer it’s tough to imagine Frank Castle won’t land on our TV screens at some point before the end of 2017.
