Actor Richard Madden rewatches his death scene from the Red Wedding in ‘Game of Thrones’ for the first time in several years…
The Red Wedding was one of the most anticipated — and dreaded — events that ever took place on ‘Game of Thrones’ as Robb Stark, his wife, his mother, his direwolf and seemingly his entire army were betrayed and murdered by Walder Frey and his family.
Actor Richard Madden, who recently gave an award worthy performance on the BBC series ‘Bodyguard’, portrayed Robb Stark for three seasons on ‘Game of Thones’ and hadn’t rewatched that infamous scene in several years.
That was until recently when GQ had Madden sit down and talk through his death scene on the show.
Madden admitted the last time he had previously watched the Red Wedding scene he was alongside his TV mother played by Michelle Fairley and things got rather emotional as they were both saying goodbye to ‘Game of Thrones’ for the last time.
Now on the cusp of the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ returning in April, Madden sat down and relived his death scene and the horrific atrocities visited upon his on screen family during the Red Wedding.
