With principle photography finished on the upcoming ‘Star Wars’ spinoff focused on a young Han Solo, the movie finally has a title.
‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’.
Director Ron Howard revealed the title in an Instagram post on Tuesday while announcing that the film had wrapped shooting.
Howard took over on ‘Solo’ after co-directors Phil Miller and Christopher Lord split with the project over creative differences with the studio. Since that time, Howard has led a harmonious cast in shooting as he looks to follow up the hugely successful ‘Rogue One’, which was the first spinoff from the new ‘Star Wars’ universe under Disney’s control.
‘Solo’ stars Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han Solo with the cast also including ‘Game of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton and Donald Glover as a young Lando Calrissian.
‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ is due out in theaters on May 25, 2018.
