Veteran actor Scott Glenn will polish up his martial arts skills for an upcoming role on the Netflix series ‘Daredevil’…
Scott Glenn — best known for roles in ‘Silence of the Lambs’ and ‘Urban Cowboy’ as well as his recent turn on HBO’s ‘The Leftovers’ — will join the cast of Marvel’s new series ‘Daredevil’ set to debut on Netflix in 2015.
Glenn will play Stick, a martial arts expert who helps Matt Murdock as he becomes Daredevil for the first time.
Glenn joins the cast, which already includes Charlie Cox in the title role playing Daredevil as well as Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D’Onofrio and Rosario Dawson.
In the comics, Stick is responsible for teaching Daredevil his martial arts expertise while acting as a mentor and advisor as the hero starts to take shape. It appears, Glenn’s role will be similar in nature as Daredevil comes to life on the small screen next year.
