The tech-comedy series ‘Silicon Valley’ will come to an end with the upcoming sixth and final season set to debut in October on HBO…
‘Silicon Valley’ will returned for a shortened, sixth and final season this October on HBO.
On Wednesday the cable network confirmed that the show created by Mike Judge and Alan Berg that has taken home Emmy Awards in the past would return for seven final episodes in October.
‘Silicon Valley has been a consistent critical hit for HBO since first debuting but the series was delayed in returning for season 6 due to the ultra-busy schedules for both Judge and Berg with other ongoing projects.
Now the series that centers around a group of developers looking to stake a claim in the tech community in Silcon Valley will return for seven more episodes to close out the show this October.
One person who is not expected to return for the final season is former star T.J. Miller, who left ‘Silicon Valley’ after season 4. HBO programming president Casey Bloys said on Wednesday that he wouldn’t anticipate Miller coming back even for a brief appearance during those final episodes.
“I highly doubt that he would be coming back to make a cameo,” Bloys stated.
An exact debut date was not announced but look for a trailer along with the official return in October in the coming weeks.
