There’s still a ton of mystery surrounding the plot of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ but we’re starting to get a deeper glimpse of what to expect when the movie opens on May 25.
The new trailer reveals a few details around Han Solo’s origin story including the fact that he was drummed out of the flight academy, which may indicate that he had actually planned on joining the Galactic Empire growing up to pursue his dreams of becoming a pilot.
At some point after leaving the flight academy, Han runs into Qi’Ra — a new character played by ‘Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke — and he will also meet his lifelong best friend Chewbacca. The trailer also gives us a look at Donald Glover, who will play lovable scoundrel Lando Calrissian and perhaps the infamous card game that lost him the Millennium Falcon to Han.
