‘Mayans M.C.’ will ride again.
On Monday, FX announced that the ‘Sons of Anarchy’ spinoff from creators Kurt Sutter and Elgin James has officially been renewed for season 2 on the network.
‘Mayans M.C.’ has been a breakout hit for FX since first debuting as the highest rated new show of 2018. Right now, ‘Mayans M.C.’ is averaging over 8 million viewers per episode over all formats available to watch the series.
Based in the same universe as ‘Sons of Anarchy’, ‘Mayans M.C.’ follows the southern California chapter of the rival motorcycle club that works along the United States and Mexican border while trying to navigate a difficult relationship with the Galindo drug cartel. The series focuses around Ezekiel ‘EZ’ Reyes, who was just recently released from prison and he’s trying to re-enter his life while serving as a prospect in the Santo Padre chapter of the Mayans.
‘Mayans M.C.’ airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET on FX with recaps on Nerdcore Movement following each new episode.
‘Mayans M.C’ season 2 will debut on FX in 2019.
