‘Stranger Things’ season 3 is boosting the cast with the addition of Maya Hawke-Thurman and the return of Lucas’ younger sister…
‘Stranger Things 3’ — or season 3 depending on how you look at it — is beefing up the cast with the addition of an actress with a very famous set of parents.
Maya Thurman—Hawke, who is the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, has been cast in ‘Stranger Things 3’ with her only previous working coming in the mini-series ‘Little Women’ in 2017.
Thurman-Hawke will be playing Robing who is “an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful. Bored with her mundane day job, she just wants a little excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins.”
Aren’t all the secrets in Hawkins dark?
Anyways, in addition to Thurman-Hawke joining the cast as a new character, Priah Ferguson, who played Lucas’ sister in ‘Stranger Things 2’ will also be returning to her same role in ‘Stranger Things 3’. Ferguson will be recurring throughout the eight episode third installment of the popular Netflix series that begins filming later this year.
There is no debut date yet for ‘Stranger Things 3’ on Netflix.
