The Canadian werewolf drama ‘Bitten’ has been renewed by its home channel north of the border and will continue to air on SyFy in the United States as well…
A few weeks back the werewolf series ‘Bitten’ was renewed by the Space channel in Canada, which means the show can now return to SyFy in the United States as well.
The cable network has picked up the option to air the second season, which will feature 10 episodes kicking off next year.
The freshman series debut on SyFy alongside recently cancelled series ‘Being Human’ and pulled in an average of 1.1 million viewers per week during the first year. Now the series will get a second season with original episodes airing in both Canada and the U.S.
The series stars Laura Vandervoort in the lead role as Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf in the world along with Greg Bryk and Greyston Holt.
‘Bitten’ season 2 will debut in 2015.
