The first trailer for ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ has arrived with a look at Sarah Connor’s return as well as the new generation of Terminators…
“The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it, for the first time, with a sense of hope. Because if a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.”
Those were the final words spoken by Sarah Connor in ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ back in 1991 and now Linda Hamilton is reprising the role she made famous with the newest film in the franchise titled ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ due out November 1.
The new film with James Cameron making his return to the franchise with ‘Deadpool’ director Tim Miller will retcon the Terminator universe by making this latest movie a direct sequel to ‘Terminator 2’ and forgetting all of the other mythology created since that time.
There’s still not much known about the plot but the first trailer shows Sarah Connor making her return in an effort to help a new Terminator played by Mackenzie Davis, who has been sent to save a young girl from being executed by another Terminator played by Gabriel Luna.
The trailer also gives a first look at Arnold Schwarzenegger making his return to the franchise that he helped make famous but who exactly is he playing this time around? It appears we’ll have to wait until November 1 to find out.
