Get ready to see a lot more of Claudia Doumit and Colby Minifie on “The Boys” after both were upped to series regulars ahead of season 3…
“The Boys” season 3 will get into production soon with a couple of familiar faces getting a promotion on the show.
Claudia Doumit, who portrays Congresswoman Victoria Neuman, and Colby Minife, who plays Ashley Barrett, VP of Hero Management at Vought International, have both been upped to series regulars for the upcoming season on Amazon Prime.
Of course, Minifie has been a mainstay on “The Boys” since season 1 when she first popped up as one of the public relations officers dispatched to handle all sorts of potential disasters created by the superheroes she serves from Vought. Following the death of Madelyn Stillwell in season 1, Ashley got a promotion at Vought but that certainly didn’t lessen her stress levels during season 2.
As for Doumit, she made her debut during “The Boys” season 2 as an ambitious Congresswoman seeking to serve oversight to Vought as the company started to get deeper and deeper into bed with the U.S. government over defense contracts. It appeared early on that Congresswoman Neuman was going to become a great ally to Billy Butcher and his Boys as they sought to bring down Vought once and for all.
Then the season finale happened and Congresswoman Neuman — SPOILERS AHEAD — was revealed as the super powered person who had been exploding heads all season long. She killed a CIA agent working closely with the Boys and she wiped out a number of Supes and witnesses preparing to testify against Vought in a hearing held by Congress.
At the end of the season, Congresswoman Neuman took out her latest target — Alastair Adana, the leader of the Church of the Collective, before then hiring Hughie as the newest member of her growing staff.
Production on “The Boys” season 3 will begin in Toronto soon but there’s still no debut date just yet on Amazon Prime.
