“The Boys” will welcome two new Supes into The Seven when season 4 begins and it appears both are going to be “dangerous” allies for Homelander…
With filming underway on “The Boys” season 4, the first look at two new characters joining the cast has now been revealed.
Susan Heyward — best known for her previous role on “Orange is the New Black” as well as “Powers” — will join the show as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry — who previously appeared in “House of Lies” — will appear as Firecracker.
Both Supes are original characters created for “The Boys” TV series and it appears they will serve as allies to Homelander as he looks to stabilize his leadership with The Seven when season 4 begins.
Meet Sage. She’s already a thousand steps ahead of you.

“Wait till you see Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry in action,” series showrunner Eric Kripke said on Twitter. “Horrific & hilarious & very, very dangerous. Just who Homelander needs for The Seven. Now filming motherfuckers!”

Because both characters are original for the show, it’s impossible to know for certain what kind of powers either of them possesses but it’s safe to assume Firecracker will be lighting a flame somewhere with her abilities.
As a reminder when “The Boys” season 3 ended, Homelander had reunited with his son Ryan and become a god-like figure to a group of worshippers, who love that he speaks his mind and doesn’t have a problem eviscerating someone for daring to speak against him. Meanwhile, Congresswoman Victoria Neuman was announced as the new vice presidential running mate alongside presumed future president Robert Singer, which means the Supe responsible for blowing up heads is really closer to ascending to President of the United States.
As for The Boys, they reunited together while inducting Starlight into their ranks while Billy Butcher returned to the team without informing them that his use of a temporary form of Compound-V has left his brain riddled with holes and he has very little time left to live.
“The Boys” is currently filming in Toronto and there’s no date set yet for when the show will return, although it’s likely in mid to late 2023.
