When Homelander flies down from the sky with a shocked look on his blood covered face, you know things are going to get messy.
That’s the first image that greets us in the new teaser trailer for “The Boys” season 2, which is set to debut on Amazon Prime in 2020. Production on the show just wrapped in Toronto and now a brief teaser trailer has been released.
While there’s no dialogue, the video still gives us a solid look ahead at what’s to come in season 2 following the dramatic close to season 1 when Homelander discovered that he had a child and Billy Butcher found out that his dead wife was very much alive.
Judging by the trailer released on Thursday, “The Boys” season 2 will be packed with just as much bloody humor as the first season after the show launched to rave reviews earlier this year.
