“The Boys” will return on Amazon Prime for season 3 on June 3 and the date for the infamous “Herogasm” episode has also been revealed…
“The Boys” are back.
The popular Amazon Prime series based on the comic books from writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson will return for season 3 on Amazon Prime starting on June 3.
The announcement was made on social media on Friday.

“The Boys” season 2 ended in October 2020 so fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of the series, which actually wrapped up production a couple of months ago.
The first three episodes of “The Boys” season 3 will be released on June 3 and then individual episodes each following week until the finale. The dates for the episodes were also revealed on Friday, which included the infamous Herogasm episode that will debut on June 24.

For those unaware — Herogasm was actually a six-issue side story taking place inside “The Boys” comic book that detailed a weekend retreat where heroes from around the world gathered on a private island to engage in all sorts of debauchery including copious amounts of drugs and sex. The comic details some seriously disturbing events that involve several major characters including Homelander and Hughie Campbell.
“The Boys” showrunner Eric Kripke has been teasing the “Herogasm” episode ever since production on season 3 started.

The “Herogasm” episode on June 24 will be followed by the final two episodes of the season with “The Boys” season 3 wrapping up on July 8.
With the season already wrapped, expect a trailer or at least some sort of footage from “The Boys” to arrive in the near future but for now get ready for June 3 when our No. 1 TV series of 2020 returns!
