Things are sure to get bloody when “The Boys” season 4 debuts on Prime Video on June 13.
The first three episodes of the new season will debut on June 13 and then a brand new episode each week leading to the season finale on Thursday, July 18.
The highly anticipated new season picks up after season 3 ended with Homelander nearly defeated before he ultimately gets away with his son and then kills a protester that actually turns him into an even bigger hero to the rabid fan base that worships him. Meanwhile, Billy Butcher’s experiment with Temp V — a short-term version of Compound-V that gives the user power for only a matter of hours — ends up backfiring when he discovers that repeated use has left him with an incurable medical condition that has left him with only months to live.
Starlight also finally broke free of The Seven and officially joined her boyfriend Hughie as a member of The Boys following the revelation that Congresswoman Victoria Neuman is actually the Supe responsible for blowing up a bunch of heads and killing numerous people.
Now we have our first details about the new season of “The Boys,” which will also introduce new members of The Seven to fill the void left on the team.
“In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
The new season will also introduce a character played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who reunites with showrunner Eric Kripke after previously working together on “Supernatural.”
